Most security failures in Punjab are not break-ins. They are power cuts. A system that goes dark for four hours a day is not a security system.
Cameras and recorders
IP cameras powered by a PoE switch stop the moment the switch loses power. The recorder stops too. A UPS on the switch and recorder keeps everything running. Size it from your actual outage schedule, not a guess.
Fire alarm panels
Panels have internal standby batteries by design, usually 24 hours plus alarm time. They need testing and replacing every few years. Ask when yours were last load-tested.
Electric fences
Energisers have a backup battery. A dead battery means a dead fence at night, exactly when it matters. Battery checks belong in every maintenance visit.
Gates and barriers
Boom barriers need backup or manual release. Without either, residents queue at a dead gate.
Networks
Routers and switches on a UPS keep phone alerts and remote viewing alive during the cut.
We build backup into every design and retrofit it to systems installed by others. Read about UPS and power backup.
